SCCM 2007: Reporting HTTP Error 404.3 – Not Found

The page you are requesting cannot be served because of the extension configuration. If the page is a script, add a handler. If the file should be downloaded, add a MIME map.

When you receive the above error when creating an SCCM 2007 report it’s most likely that you forgot the “ASP” check box during IIS setup. The ASP IIS feature is required when you want to user your system as a reporting point.  I forgot this Role because it was marked as a “note” in the Technet documentation.

Solution:  Open Server Manager -> Roles -> Right Click IIS -> Add Role Services -> Add the “ASP” Role service
